Church of God
We are so glad that you are here!
A Note from the Elders
We continue to thank you and praise God for your prayers, support and faithful ministry in the settings you live and work in during this very challenging time. On Sunday, July 12th, Caring entered a 2nd Phase of Re-Opening available. In addition to our 10:30am worship service, we added our Men’s & Women’s Discipleship Classes at 9:00am, and a Children’s Church Class for our Young Children, during the sermon in the 10:30 service.
The Nursery ministry is now open.
Please Know: there is absolutely no pressure on anyone to attend. If you are uncomfortable in any way with attending, we affirm your decision to stay home. We will continue to live-stream the worship service, and the link is available here on our website. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
We recently added another option for in-person participation with added safety measures. The cafe is open at 10:30 am with the service being livestreamed on the large TV. Anyone attending in this room will wear a mask and limit interaction with those in the building. Simply enter the front doors of the church and proceed to the cafe. When the service is over, you may exit out the back door.
The Men’s Class will meet in the youth room. Their area will be disinfected after meeting.
The Women’s Class will meet in the Cafe, and allow for appropriate spacing. Their area will be disinfected after meeting.
Children’s Church will gather in worship with their families and be dismissed prior to the sermon to meet in Room 104. Their area will be disinfected after meeting.
There Are Some Adjustments/Additions to Our Previous Fellowship Protocols:
Masks will not be required. They are optional based on your comfort level and desire.
We will not greet with handshakes and hugs.
The worship room seating has been returned to the normal 250 seats. There are plenty of rows and space for families to sit together, yet create a comfortable level of social distance in our corporate gathering.
Children’s Church leaders will not wear masks, and social distancing is not something children practice or can be enforced in this setting.
There is non-toxic hand sanitizer ( alcohol & hydrogen peroxide ) in the children’s church area.
Their room has been and will be cleaned prior to each gathering.
Again, if you are uncomfortable with this setting, we totally support your family decision to not participate at this time.
No Bibles are in the chairs, nor crayons and pages for children during the worship service.
Children’s Church will utilize their normal range of ministry tools: crayons, pages, games, etc.
Nursing moms have access to their room.
Bathrooms are available. No access to rooms not being used during the current ministry hour.
Playground is available, but it has been used by families in the church and community. Hand sanitizer should be used after any play time.
Bathrooms, door handles, surfaces and seats have been disinfected before the service, and will be treated in between each time we meet.
Please be in prayer as we continue to slowly open up, and know that we completely respect and affirm the Lord’s leading and your personal comfort level of fellowship participation.
We continue to pray for, love and appreciate you all.
