Outreach, both locally and farther away, is an important ministry of Caring Community. 
Adopt-A-Highway  is a community involvement program where we partner with PennDOT to promote and provide cleaner roadsides.  Twice yearly, we remove trash from a 2-mile section of Red Top Road.
Caring In Action (CIA)  addresses the physical needs of the body and beyond.  Services provided might include moving a chair or an entire household or replacing a roof.  Everyone can be a part of CIA because the needs are so varied. We don’t have meetings; we just spring into action as needs arise.
C.L.E.A.R. Group – Christ, Learning, Encouraging, Accountability and Recovery Group.   Our mission and direction is CLEAR, what we stand on and know through the word of God is CLEAR…it’s the way to healing and reaching out to other sisters supporting sisters…It’s CLEAR!  Ladies, this group is open to any woman in the church that needs or desires accountable fellowship.
Church Camp –  Camp YoliJwa (Youth Living Jesus Way) is the summer camping program held at Doubling Gap Center (DGC).  DGC is owned by the Eastern Region of the Churches of God, situated in the beautiful mountains in Newville, PA, offers summer camping opportunities as well as retreat and conference facilities for small and large groups.
Compassion International – Every spring a Compassion Sunday is presented to our church family to learn of  opportunities to personally sponsor a Compassion child.
Elderly – This ministry is for the purpose of reaching out to the elderly in the Church of God Home in Carlisle, PA.  The church’s liason meets with the Church’s adopted grandparent quarterly.  The liaison takes care of purchasing and delivering Christmas and birthday gifts, visiting and fellowship with our grandparent.
Food Bank – Four times a year,  Caring in-gathers non-perishable food items for a Food Pantry in Hummelstown for distribution to those in need living in the Hummelstown zip code.   The first Tuesday of each month this same group and others volunteer at the South Central PA Food Bank.
GriefShare – Help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend.  No Sessions at this time.
Hand & Feet is a ministry to the homeless in Harrisburg.  Once each month, bagged lunches, clothing, toiletries and other needed items are distributed at two locations in Harrisburg.  Opportunities to share the Love of Christ and to pray with these people are increasing each month.
Love INC  is a ministry to those in need in the local area.  Services such as transportation, clothing, food, budgeting and other self-help classes are provided.  Caring Community has partnered with Love, INC to lend support to their efforts.
Parakaleo – Parakaleo means comfort.  The Parakaleo Ministry extends the comfort and encouragement that they have personally received from God to those who are discouraged and hurting in the body of Caring Community.
